Kung Fu
Few adults beyond 30 years old are not familiar with the Kung Fu style of martial arts. A capoeiraist must be extremely flexible to perform the jumps, flips rolls and acrobatic stunts that are a part of this form of martial arts.
Tai Chi Chuan
Arguably, Tai Chi Chuan is the most graceful form of martial arts. Tai Chi chuan focuses on balance, relaxation and posture. The movements of Tai Chi Chuan are slow and measured and help to bring focus to the mind and calm the individual’s mind. While this form of martial arts does not promote kicking and hitting, it is also a form of self defense. Tai Chi Chuan is said by some to be the most complete form of martial arts because it gracefully unites the spirit with the physical being to create an internal source of power.
